YACHTBUILDING

Technical characteristics

- The construction takes the minimization of contact surfaces into account. This prevents the action of sea salt and is therefore very important to the life of the product. Both the number of contact surfaces and their surface area have been kept to a minimum. The result is a removable louver without framing profile that is mounted as a sub element in a basic frame.

- The louver can be used with relatively high air speeds. If the air speeds become too high, it is simple to switch to a type with higher flow. There is a relatively negligible difference in appearance.

- FlowGrill louvers are welded in welding fixtures. This results in an extremely stable louver that forms a metal unity.

- The edges of the blades have extra finishing to limit scoring. This rules out any inclusion of moisture in miniscule grooves. The bond of the paint at these spots is particularly important in the event of widely varying temperatures.

- At FlowGrill the ventilation louvers are pre-treated chemically before any coating is applied. A conditioned series of baths guarantees that the paint bonds perfectly to aluminium and stainless steel. Immediately after the baths, the ventilation louvers are brought up to temperature and then given their first coating of paint. This precludes any inclusion of moisture.

- The proven design of the FlowGrill ventilation louver restricts the penetration of water. This is achieved through the design of the blades in the louver.

- The ventilation louver can be mounted and removed easily for maintenance tasks on the louver or filter behind, and/or the mist eliminator.
